We are seeking a Dental Assistant II:
Summary:
Assists dentists in all aspects of dental care delivery, including advanced or specialized dental assistant duties.
Duties:
- Assists dentist in all phases of dental care, based on detailed knowledge of different dentists' techniques and preferences.
- Takes, develops, and mounts x-rays. May perform complex or specialized radiography.
- Sets up and sterilizes exam rooms and equipment, in accordance with universal safety precautions and other safety standards.
- Order and stock supplies and maintain equipment.
- Instructs patients in proper oral health techniques.
- Answers inquiries from patients (faculty, students, and staff) related to clinic administrative functions, and schedules appointments.
- Perform initial assessment or triage incoming patients.
- Assist in training new dental assistants.
- Maintain and prepare dental records and reports.
- Performs related duties as required.
Typical Requirements Education:
Completion of a certified dental assistant training program required. Radiographic certification required.
Skills and Experience:
Three or more years of clinical experience as a dental assistant preferred.

FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE
Cedar Walk Dentistry is looking for a dynamic, experienced Front Desk Associate to join our fast-growing team. In this position, you will greet patients entering the office and create the ultimate patient experience while they wait to see the Dentist or Hygienist. We offer great benefits and vacation time. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere. If you enjoy people and are committed to doing excellent work, then we want to hear from you.
Monday-Wednesday 7:45-5
Thursday 6:45-3
Friday 6:45-1:00
Primary Job Responsibilities:

Completes daily insurance verifications for all scheduled patients

Greet all patients by first name with a friendly personality as they arrive and assist them throughout their office visit.

Serve as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the office or calling in on the phone

Confirm all future appointments

Assist patients with billing questions
-
Submit Insurance Claims with proper attachments and narratives.

Follow-up with unscheduled recare/treatment appointments.
Qualifications:
-
2-3 years experience preferred

Associates Degree preferred

Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethic

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with your co-workers and patients
